My students are thriving on stages across Canada and beyond — in productions like & Juliet (Mirvish), Richard II and Rent (Stratford Festival), Bring It On (Globe Theatre), Jersey Boys (Drayton Entertainment), Dixon Road (Musical Stage Company), Million Dollar Quartet (Arts Club, Tweed & Co.), Forever Plaid (Fallsview), Footloose ( Stage West), and Off-Broadway at The Player’s Theatre. They’ve also sung with the Nathaniel Dett Chorale, Harbour Voices Festival, and appeared on America’s Got Talent and Canadian Family’s Got Talent.
I teach voice at Wilfrid Laurier University, Sheridan College, and the Stratford Summer Music Vocal Academy. My goal is for every student to feel free, expressive, and authentic. I never suppress a singer’s natural voice—but I do help build the technique that supports it: freedom, breath, resonance, space, and a connected line. With those foundations, singers gain confidence, consistency, and the ability to sing any style—while sounding unmistakably themselves.
