Jesse started playing the violin at the age of 3 and has been fiddling around ever since. Brought up as a student of the Suzuki violin method in London Ontario, Jesse quickly developed a love for playing all genres of music from classical to country and jazz to rock. His performances have taken him across Canada and internationally, including spending 7 months in the United Arab Emirates as a featured performer for Expo 2020 Dubai where Jesse played alongside acclaimed musicians from around the world.

As a teacher, Jesse had the privilege of going through the Suzuki program at Forest City String School in London under the direction of Pat Burroughs. After graduating, Jesse became a teacher, orchestra coach, chamber music leader and conductor at the school. His love for spreading the joy of music has allowed him to guest conduct, adjudicate and maintain a private studio for the past 15 years.

Jesse also works as a performer, arranger, producer and musical director in the world of musical theatre. He has worked top Canadian theatre companies including Drayton Entertainment, The Grand Theatre, Rainbow Stage, The Imperial Theatre, Terra Bruce Productions, The Stratford Festival and the Victoria Playhouse Petrolia. His own show “Fiddler On The Loose” was first written in 2013 and it’s many renditions have been performed in theatres across Ontario – always featuring the fiddle as the star! Jesse is currently on the road as the fiddler, musical director and production manager for Canadian country artist Dallas Alexander.
