Having grown up in a piano-teaching household, and having herself begun pedagogy training and piano-teaching at age 15, Sandra Mogensen has decades of experience and evolution as a piano teacher. Her teaching philosophy is to encourage, support, and challenge her students to express who they are through music, and to open doors to that expression by giving students the necessary musical and technical tools. 

Using a wide range of musical styles and diversity in teaching materials, Sandra tailors her piano-teaching to the individual student, and prioritizes a gender-balanced approach in choosing repertoire.

Accepting students for hybrid learning in a combination of in-person in Stratford, and virtual lessons, or for exclusively virtual lessons. Sandra has 8 years of experience in teaching virtually.
